Me1: Hrrrrm why the hell can't I finish this article on street harassment and sex work?! It's something I know intimately well, and it's something I really care about!!
Me2: Oh, I don't know Jessie. Maybe it's because it's re-opening old wounds, anger, and frustration? Maybe you keep putting it off or are working slower than normal because it's so emotionally taxing?
Me1: That makes sense... but if I just get it done more quickly it'll be like ripping off a band aid and it will be over! I'm just going to push through the pain!
